特　性 無翅。。メスの頭部に一対の角。寒い地域・場所ではオスが少なく、メスだけで単為生殖をする。年1回発生。触覚は前肢をわずかに越える。　
食植物 雑食性。サクラ、カシ、コナラ、ブナ、クヌギ、ノイバラ、イタドリなど。
